Here is found the world‘s oldest gold treated by human - real archaeological sensation: gold ornaments and objects with a total weight for about 6.5 kg. The treated gold is about 7000 years old - from the late fifth and early fourth millennium BC. Until its discovery it was thought that the first metal worked by man, is copper. It turns out that gold began to be used along with copper over the time and serve as decoration, while a symbol of prestige and power.
Here, the American explorer Dr. Robert Ballard organized an expedition in search of the Noah's ark. He has participated in over 65 underwater expeditions, in one of them headed by his team discovered in 1985 the remains of the ship "Titanic". There are historical artefacts that are the basis for the hypothesis that Noah has made the ark exactly here. There are also evidences of ancient shores between 90 and 120 m below contemporary sea level and the so-called organo-mineral sapropelni sludge formed by geological and biological catastrophe before more than 8,000 years.
The ancient Greeks established a colony here - Odessos city, and after them the Romans built great termal baths that can rival even the large modern SPAs. During the Middle Ages in this region were built rock monasteries in which monks were seeking solitude and communion with God.
You can head on the trail of history, while relaxing and recharge your energy by choosing golf and /or SPA vacation.
You will be in a green oasis on the beach with wonderful views to the horizon. In the far distance you will see the large resort Albena, even Varna city. Accommodation / Restaurants(Food)

The accommodation is in Black Sea Rama Golf&Villas a spacious luxury 5-star golf complex with lots of greenery. Buildings are 1 or 2 floors and are surrounded by green areas. The complex has no tall buildings, no concrete. A feeling of spaciousness is well created. The villas are neat and cozy, two, three or four bedrooms. You can choose between accommodation in a self-storey villa with two rooms on the second floor or share a room in a villa with three or four bedrooms.

On the first floor is the spacious living room with home furniture and flat screen TV. Kitchen is equipped with everything necessary - hobs plate, oven, refrigerator, filter coffee machine, kettle, water jug, toaster. As a compliment to receive mineral water, tea and coffee. The living room opens onto a terrace with garden furniture where you can drink coffee on the gown, you will find in the wardrobe. On the same floor there is a toilet. On the second floor are two spacious bedrooms - one with twin beds and the other - a bedroom, both leaving to a large balcony. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower. The hair dryer is "real" and the ladies will appreciate it, and luxury bath kits with shower gel, body lotion, etc. which are arranged in beautiful boxes.

Breakfasts and dinners are held in Clubhouse, with huge windows and balconies from wich can be seen a wonderful sea view and the whole bay. Food is tasty and plentiful.

Golf
Golf course was designed by Gary Player (Gary Player signature golf course) par 72, length 6648 m. Its 18 holes are challenging combination of sand bunkers and ponds located so that it is difficult for those who are beginners in the golf as well the players with good skills. When you add to them and the wind, the game gets really exciting.

Fitness and Sports
You have free access to two gyms where you can take care of your fit. You can play tennis on the tennis courts, rent a bike or play table tennis. There is also a lake where you can fish.

Spa
Finnish sauna, jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor pools are avaliable for you with free access. Massages and treatments for face and body are included in spa package or can be additionally requested.

Beach
You can enjoy the fine sand and warm sea just 5 minutes away. You only need to request a transfer there and back.

Excursion to Balchik, the King Palace and the Botanical Garden
This is the palace of Romanian queen Maria. She falls in love with this enigmatic place and in 1927 by her order were built the summer residence there. The Queen was follower of Bahaisme, religion founded in Iran in the 19th century by Mizra Hoseyn'Ali Nuri better known under the name of Baha Ullah. In line with this religion, she ordered the architecture of the palace to harness the symbols of the all existing religions. These characters are revealed in the vast garden of the residence too. There is also the beautiful botanical garden with an area of 65,000 m2. There are more than 2000 plant species, of which 600 are cactuses. This is the second largest collection of cactuses in Europe. The first is located in Monaco. Rare and exotic trees, shrubs and flowers create a beautiful picture with background sea. Architectural elements have become part of the natural picture - Nimpheum (Roman Baths), Bridge of Sighs, the Garden with water mirror in the shape of a cross, Walk of ages, hanging terraces and much more.

Excursion to Cape Kaliakra, Kamen Briag and Durankulak lake.
• Cape Kaliakra is 2 km long offshore and is a vertical 60-70 m high limestone cliff. Inaccessibility to the rock was the main reason here to be built an ancient fortress named Tirizis. The fortress was successively conquered and used by the Thracians, Romans, Byzantines and Bulgarians. A large number of remains of ancient habitations have preserved till nowadays, which can be seen as exhibits in the small museum. According to the legends, in the fort was guarded the treasure of Lysimachus, the successor of Alexander the Great. This place is most famous with the story of several Bulgarian girls who, during the Ottoman domination chose to jump off a high cliff into the sea rather than be captured and converted into Islamic faith. They entangled their long braids and threw together into the sea abyss.
Besides the history of Cape Kaliakra, and the nature attracts people here. The place was declared a protected area in 1941. Since the protected area was expanded three times and currently reaches about 50 hectares. This is one of the few places that are home to rare marine species and rare birds.
Nearby is Durankulak Lake, which is known as a habitat of more than 250 species of wading birds and plants, rare fish, reptiles, amphibians, many of which are included in the Red Book of Bulgaria. The lake was declared a protected area. It attracts experts and tourists not only because of its nature. On the big island in the lake is an archaeological park, called by scientists "Bulgarian Troy". Stone architectural complex (the oldest monumental structure in Europe) and Cybele temple - the great mother goddess, dating back 7000 years.
• Visit Kamen Briag (Yailata) between Shabla and Kavarna, 2 km from the Kamen Briag is the archaeological reserve Yailata declared as such in 1989. Along with plants and animals, rocks and caves,the area was declared a protected area. Its name is with Turk origin and translated into Bulgarian Yaila means high pasture. The area is located at 453 acres and covers large area of coastline running from Kamen Briag to Rusalka resort. Here you can see remains of ancient civilizations and people, here are situated many grouped caves used as dwellings. During the Early Byzantine period a rock monastery existed here, like Aladzha monastery. Shkorpil brothers first visited the place and mapped it. In the three discovered necropolis was found over 120 cemeteries that were family.
Here can be seen the remains of early Byzantine fortress built during the reign of Anastasius - V-VI AD placed on the total area of 2.5 acres withwell preserved traces of five towers, three stairs and a gate tower, destroyed in VI century.
The territory of Yailata nest over 50 species of birds. Here goes Via Pontica - one of the main migration routes of migratory birds. There are also 19 species of rare and endangered plants.
• Visit of Durankulak Lake wich is located in the northeastern part of Bulgaria, about 6 km from the Bulgarian-Romanian border. The lake is among the most important wetlands in Bulgaria. In the area of the lake are found five plants endemic to the Balkans and other 27 species of important national and international conservation importance. Sch.triqueter field is one of the most representative in the country. The greatest importance of the place is to protect the bird fauna in wintering populations of 4 species of waterfowl (Pygmy Cormorant - Halietor pygmeus, Greater White-fronted Goose - Anser albifrons, greylag goose - Anser anser and Red-breasted Goose - Branta ruficollis) have a major contribution to international recognition of the wetland as a Ramsar site.
Durankulak Lake and neighboring Shabla‘s lakes together form the most numerous contemporary wintering place for the globally endangered Red-breasted goose. Natural complex is located on the migratory route Via pontica and provides favorable conditions for feeding and resting a number of migratory birds. The site is of international importance for 3 nesting bird species. The lake has great potential for conservation of wild carp (Cyprinus carpio), and sand dunes are a refuge for numerous and stable population of spadefoot (Pelobates syriacus). Steppe habitat around the lake are important for the conservation of the Marbled Polecat (Vormela peregusna), Newtonian hamster (Mesocricetus newtoni) and souslik (Spermophilus citellus).
Excavations in Durankulak began in 1974 and many discoveries made there have brought new knowledge about the prehistory and early history of the Balkan Peninsula. On the west side of Lake has Durankulak dugouts of the first farmers of Dobrudja (5100 - 4700g. BC) burial mound of protobronze Age (3500-3400 BC) and ancient Sarmatian cemetery. There are necropolises left by people who inhabited the island in the Big Lake.
Surveyed more than 12,000 prehistoric burials, along with a necropolis of Varna, Devnya and showed that the western shores of the Black Sea were the cradle of the oldest protocivilization of humanity. On the Big Island in Durankulak is Neolithic mound (4600 - 4200 BC), which is a cultural monument of national importance. On the southern slope of the island has a fortified settlement from Late Bronze and Early Iron Age to the beginning (1300 - 1200 BC).
26 m inside the rock massif of the island is cut a cave temple of Hellenistic goddess Cybele (3rd century BC), and on the whole island was located fortified settlement from the Proto-Bulgarian 9-10 c. Part of it is exposed .

Trip to Aladzha Monastery and the beach in Albena resort
Aladja Monastery is a medieval Bulgarian rock monastery (XIII - XIV century). Located 18 km northeast of Varna. There are remains of a church, cells, a chapel, cook-house and other premises, carved in the rocks. In a new exhibition hall is exhibited permanent exhibition of copies of medieval frescoes (XII - XVI century).
The beach resort of Albena is one of the best beaches on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The sand is very fine. The beach is 150 m wide and stretches for 5 km.

The history of Varna is very long and rich. At the boundaries of the town were found among the oldest settlements on the Black Sea over 7000 years old. Varna Chalcolithic necropolis dated to 4200 BC. There was found the oldest gold treasure in human history, and other objects of silver, copper, bronze, clay and flint.
It is known that on the shore of Varna Bay, where is now the old part of the town, is Odessus fortress that is Old Greek translation of the old name - Varna, which was founded in the 6th century BC (about 570 BC), near the same old Thracian settlement in the area of Varna Millet colonists. In the coming years and centuries the fortress was under the rule of many conquerors, including Alexander the Macedonian. Merge into the territory of the Roman Empire and later the Eastern Roman Empire known as Byzantium.
In the late 6th century for the first time in Byzantine chronicles appears the new name of Varna, which in some hypothesis it is with Thracian origin.
Varna became a part of the Bulgarian state. After the Christianization of the Bulgarians in 864 during the reign of Tsar Boris I, it became an important Christian center, led by the Bishop.
In the 13-14 century Varna is a major commercial center and not only for Bulgarian but also Venetian, Romaic, Genoese, Florentine and Dubrovnik merchants who used to come here.
In 1389 Varna was conquered by the Ottoman Turks.
On November 10, 1444 near the town the united Polish-Hungarian Crusader armies of King Vladislav III, called Varnenchik and Transylvanian voivode Hunyadi János are defeated by the Ottomans. Today in Varna is built a mausoleum of a Christian warrior.
Then Varna becomes a typical oriental city during the Ottoman rule in the city, but retains its strategic and commercial importance.
In the 18-19 century Varna was twice discharged for a short time by Russian troops: in 1773 and 1828 in May 1854 in the city was held a conference on allied Ottoman Empire, Britain and France fight together against Russia during the Crimean War (1854 - 1856).
Varna was finally released on July 27, 1878, when Russian troops enter the city under a preliminary peace treaty of San Stefano of 3 March 1878 and the Berlin Treaty of July 13, 1878
